Esther Mabel Felder, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011, with her daughter by her side, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Esther was born July 1, 1925, in Ripon, the daughter of William and Flora (Denzine) Kohnke. On October 15, 1949, she married Al Felder in Dubuque, IA. Esther worked as a housekeeper at the Ripon College. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Jerry (Geri) Felder of Pearland, TX, Mary (Tim) Colegrove of Plover, WI and Debby (Barrie) Belau of Ripon, WI; grandchildren, Stephanie (Bill) Schlehlein of Ripon, WI, Heather (Brock) Stellmacher of Ripon, WI, Steve Colegrove of Stevens Point, WI and Tracy (Troy) Larsen of Cottage Grove, WI; great-grandchildren, Adam and Kyle Schlehlein, Alexis, Carter, Gannon and Parker Stellmacher, Skylar Colegrove, Hailey and Drew Larsen and one sister, Edna Ebert. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Al Felder, parents, seven sisters, Thelma Kaujawa, Viola Kohnke, Eliza Hathaway, Margaret Poritz, Erna Metko, Violet Butt, Irene Hoeft and eight brothers, Elmer, Edward, William, Henry, Lester, Floyd, Frederick and Orville.
Per Esther’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
A memorial is being established.
