Esther Anna Hansen, age 76, of Ripon, WI, died Friday morning, April 13, 2001, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born December 21, 1924, in Sheboygan Falls, a daughter to Harry and Edna Anne (Bort) Gibbs. She attended Milwaukee County Schools. On April 19, 1947, she married Lloyd J. Hansen. Esther was a housewife and mother.
She is survived by four children, Debra Julie (Chris) Neuswanger of CO, Peter Harold (Jan) Hansen of Ripon, Mary Ann Hansen of Ripon, and Richard Lee (Cheryl) Hansen of Appleton; three grandchildren, Justin Lloyd, Melissa Rose and Derek Lee Hansen; and one niece, Pat Carroa of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lloyd James; daughter, Ginger; parents, Harry and Edna Gibbs; two half-brothers, Lester and Edward Hodges; and one niece, Susan Mancl.
A memorial service for Esther A. Hansen will be Monday, April 16, 2001, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Reverend Gerald Schrankler officiating. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
