Esther E. Hoeft, 91, of Ripon, died May 18, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
She was born on November 7, 1902, in Green Lake County, the daughter of William and Marie (Sommerfeldt) Beyer. On September 26, 1922, she married Arthur Hoeft, and he passed away on April 19, 1965. Esther was a housewife; a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, and an associate member of the Friendship Circle.
Esther is survived by one daughter, Yvonne Kelm and one grandson, Reverend Dale Kelm, both of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Alvin, John and Frederick Beyer; two sisters, Elsie Kahl and Dorothy Anderson; and one son-in-law, William Kelm.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 until 8 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again on Friday from 10 am until the hour of the service at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Funeral services for Esther Hoeft will be at 11am Friday at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. The Reverends Howard Ott and Ray Steger will officiate. Interment will follow in the Princeton City Cemetery, Princeton. A memorial will be established.
