Esther Ninneman

Esther C. “Mickey” Ninneman, age 88, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Prairie Place in Ripon.
Mickey was born on April 18, 1924, in Princeton, WI, the daughter of Mike and Bessie (Kollat) Michalowski. Mickey graduated from Princeton High School in 1942. On June 22, 1946, she married Paul L. Ninneman at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. Mickey was a homemaker and a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (formerly St. Patrick’s Catholic Church) in Ripon, where she was Treasurer of the Altar Society and of the Bingo Games for several years. She also helped as an assistant for several years teaching Catechism at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mickey enjoyed calligraphy, sewing and reading. She loved flowers and going for walks. She especially loved going on trips to Florida with her husband Paul. She dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren. In her early years, Mickey was employed at the Ripon Knitting Works, Speed Queen, Walgreens, and at the E & E Restaurant. She also worked a few years as the lunchroom and playground monitor at Roosevelt School. She later worked at the Fox River Glove Outlet Store until her retirement.
Survivors include four sons; Stephen (Sheila) Ninneman of Union Grove, WI, Richard Ninneman of Ripon, WI, Joel Ninneman of Mt. Horeb, WI, Mark (Irene) Ninneman of Montello, WI; five grandchildren, Richard Ninneman Jr., Jessica (George) Busse, Theresa (Matt) Gulbransen, Andrew Ninneman and Paul Ninneman; great-grandchildren, Kylee and Jacob Busse, Gordon and Matthew Ninneman, Trenton and Ailey Ninneman; one brother, Clifford Michalowski of Princeton, WI. Esther was preceded in death by her husband Paul of 59 years; her parents, one brother, Harold Michalowski, one sister, Angeline Schlaack, one brother-in-law Wilbert and nephew Jerry Schlaack.
Visitation for Esther Ninneman will be held Tuesday, November, 13, 2012, from 9:30-10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom Street, Ripon, WI, 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Esther Ninneman will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum and Father John Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established.
