Esther L. Schopp, age 83, of Green Lake, passed away Friday, May 5, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.
Esther was born December 7, 1922, in Madison County Wood River, IL. the daughter of John and Alta (Matthew) Turner. She graduated from Thorton Fractional High School and then attended LaGrange Jr. College. On September 19, 1942 she married Dean Schopp in LaGrange, IL. Esther was a housewife and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Esther is survived by her husband, Dean Schopp of Green Lake; 3 daughters, Deanna (Ken) Beaulieu of Huntington Beach, CA., Denice (Jack) Ophoven of Appleton, WI. and Dayle (Alvin) Strong of Polmyra, NY; grandchildren, John, Michele, Andrew, Melissa, Nicholas, Rachel and Raven. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Donna Lee Schopp and brother, Harold R. Turner.
Visitation for Esther Schopp will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Green Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial for Esther Schopp will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Green Lake, with Father Philip Krogman officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Elm Grove, WI. A memorial has been established.
