Ethel M. Beard, age 63, of Green Lake, WI passed away on Sunday, June 3, 1956 at home.
Ethel was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on May 30, 1893, the daughter of Reverend August and Edena (Lunn) Broholm. She was educated at the Pillsbury Academy, Owatonna, MN as well as Des Moines University, Des Moines, IA. On June 21, 1921 she married Burrus Beard and was a member of the Federated Church in Green Lake.
Ethel is survived by her husband, Burrus Beard of Green Lake, WI; a daughter, Mrs. James Bailey of Champaine, IL; two brothers; two sisters; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend August and Edena Broholm.
Funeral service for Ethel will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 1956 at Federated Church of Green Lake, WI, with Reverend Grant F. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI.
