Ethelyn Cummings

Ethelyn M. Cummings, 82, Spring Grove Rd. South Shore of Green Lake, died September 5, 1994, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon where she had resided since April of this year.
She was born May 27, 1912, in Ripon, a daughter to Frank and Fredricka Ferch Ladwig. She graduated from Ripon High School and on June 25, 1949, she married Eldridge Cummings. He passed away on April 3, 1967. Mrs. Cummings had been a matron at the Green Lake County Jail until her retirement. She was a member of the Rebekah’s and was very active in the Senior Citizens of Green Lake.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Hayes of Rialto, CA; two grandsons, David Kirby of CA and Dan Hayes of Markesan; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
It was Ethelyn’s wish that no visitation be held, and that 6 pm Thursday, graveside services be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
