Eugene "Bud" Hansen

Eugene “Bud” V. Hansen, age 75, of Pickett, WI, passed away on August 15, 1992, at Americana Health Care Center in Fond du Lac.
He was born June 23, 1917, in Oconto, the son of henry and Emma (Faulds) Hansen. He was educated in Oconto. He married Lorraine E. Kaiser on June 23, 1940 and for most of their married life they lived in Pickett. He retired as manager of the Pickett-Co-Op in 1981. “Bud” was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett and was a past member of the church board. He was a past member of the board of directors of the Niellsville Transport Company and a past member of the Pickett Lions.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine; two daughters, Pat (Dennis) Schaetzka of Pickett and Sharon Youell of Winnipeg, Manitoba; four grandchildren, Karen Williams, Sandra Rogge, Steve Schaetzka and Denise Youell; three great-grandchildren; one brother, John Hansen of Appleton; and two sisters, Henrietta Stewart and Genevieve Lade, both of Oconto.
Funeral services for Eugene “Bud” V. Hansen will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett. The Reverend Alvin Aichele will officiate. Interment will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett. Friends may call Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of the services at the church.
