Eugene J. Sandleback, 54, died Sunday, September 23, 1990, at his residence in Wheaton, IL.
He was born October 9, 1935, in Sturgeon Bay, a son of Earl and Cora Mayne Sandleback. On June 15, 1957, he married Marion Palmer in Green Lake.
Mr. Sandleback attended Green Lake High School and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He received his master’s degree from Syracuse University. He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, retiring as Lt. Colonel. He was director for the Healthcare Financial Management Association in Westchester, IL for 10 ½ years. He had resided in Wheaton, IL and in Green Lake.
Survivors include his wife Marion; 2 sons, Brian (D’Lene) Sandleback of Coppell, TX and Kevin (Karen) Sandleback of Bolingbrook, IL; his mother Cora Sandleback of Green Lake; 1 brother, Murray (Ann) Sandleback of Green Lake; 1 sister, Sharon (Gerald) Hallman of Fond du Lac; other relatives and friends. His father Earl preceded him in death.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral services for Mr. Sandleback will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. at the Federated Church of Green Lake with the Reverend Walter R. Nickel officiating. Interment will be in the Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
A memorial has been established for the Hospice Program of DuPage County, IL.
Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon is in charge of arrangements.
