Eva “Eve” Marie Hein, age 95, 50 Wolverton Avenue, Ripon, passed away Friday, March 17, 2006 at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
She was born January 31, 1911 in Rosendale, a daughter to Emulous Soules and Ella (Smith) Soules. Eve was educated in Ripon Schools. On June 23, 1933, she married Nelson Hein at Oakwood Beach, in the Township of Green Lake. Eve owned and operated Rapids Liquor in Wisconsin Rapids, from 1947 – 1977, retiring in 1977. .
Survivors include her brother, Donald (Eileen) Wagner of Fond du Lac; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nelson, and 3 sisters, Harriet Smasal; Clarabelle Werdin; and Mabel Caswell.
A Memorial service for Eva “Eve” Marie Hein will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at The Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in the City of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
