Evelyn G. Burlingame, 92, of Wolverton Ave. Ripon, died November 24, 1989, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born March 28, 1897, in the Town of Brooklyn, to Gustav and Annie Roberts Krueger. On August 25, 1921, she married Victor Burlingame.
Mrs. Burlingame was educated in Princeton High School and Green Lake County Normal School. She was a public school teacher for over 30 years. She lived in the Ripon area most of her life. Mrs. Burlingame was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, OES #151. She was also a 50 years member of the Ripon Pilgrim Rebeccas Lodge 195 and Worthy Matron in 1939 and organist for over 40 years.
Survivors include one son, Roger and his wife, Jackie of Ripon and two grandchildren, Delmar and his wife, Susan and Vicki and her husband, Bruce all of Ripon. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Burlingame was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services for Evelyn G. Burlingame will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 1989 at 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home where Rebecca and Eastern Star Services will be held at 8:00 pm. A memorial has been established for the Order of the Eastern Star.
