Evelyn S. Dunham, 95, formerly of Ripon and a resident of Parkview Care Center the past 2 years, died Monday, January 5, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born December 9, 1902, in Beaver Valley, PA, the daughter of Britton and Verna (Stevens) Schrack. She was educated in Johnston, PA, and shortly after graduating from high school she moved to Evanston, IL and later to Green Lake. On August 18, 1926, she married Ira R. Dunham in Illinois and they made their home in Ripon. Evelyn had worked at Ripon Foods until her retirement. She was a member of Pilgrim Rebekah Lodge, the Waupun Order of Eastern Star Lodge #195, and was also a Garden Club member.
She is survived by a sister, Eldora (Ray) Lehman of Windber, PA, a brother, Lawrence Schrack of Detroit, Ml; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Nehls of Ripon, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters and brother.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 9, 1998, at 11 AM at the
Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with an Eastern Star service at 10:45 AM. The Rev. James D. Mohr will officiate and interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
