Evelyn L. Kohnke, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away on May 18, 1985, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Evelyn was born June 4, 1917, in the Town of Grant, WI, the daughter of Frank and Ida (Gransee) Warren. She was educated in Rosendale. Evelyn married Arthur Kohnke on November 25, 1942 until his death on November 2, 1984. She worked as a press operator at Ripon Knitting Works.
Survivors include two sons, James and Jerry both of Ripon, WI; three grandchildren, two sisters, June Zellmer of Ripon, WI and Dorathea Bradley of Ripon, WI and two brothers, Franklin Warren of Fairwater, WI and Gerald Warren of Waupun, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister.
Visitation for Evelyn will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 1985, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Evelyn will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 1985, at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale.
