Evelyn Kohnke, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
Evelyn was born July 30, 1925, in Neshkoro, the daughter of Herman and Mayme (Hoeft) Stark. On April 12, 1947, Evelyn married Floyd Roy Kohnke in Kingston, WI. Evelyn was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church, in Ripon, WI.
Survivors include her children, David (Linda) Kohnke, Ripon, WI, Diana Dorsch, Ripon, WI, Barbara “Bunny” Kohnke, Ripon, WI; grandchildren, Joshua Kohnke (Charlene Marshall), Great Falls, MT, Jessica Kohnke (Craig Johnson) Ripon, WI, Adam, Aaron, and Anthony Dorsch, Ripon, WI; step-grandchildren, Katie (Art) Lund, Ripon, WI, Aaron (Larae) Simonis, Berlin, WI; step great-grandson, Gage Hennricks, and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers and one sister.
Visitation for Evelyn Kohnke will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 4 -7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 10 – 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold Street, Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Evelyn Kohnke will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Chaplain Pam Werth will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
