Evelyn Jane Lambert, age 85, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at her home.
Evelyn was born on May 10, 1923, the daughter of William and Emma (Huddleston) Johnston. She attended school in Plainfield, and worked as a Chef for 52 years, during which time she worked for Moxie’s Supper Club in Ripon. Evelyn was a member of Wyldewood Baptist Church of Oshkosh.
Survivors include her children, Carol Langenhorst of Green Lake, and Edward Lambert Jr.; five grandchildren, Tiffany Kjonaas Mike Blake of Ripon, Kenneth & Candy Buhrow of Oshkosh, Andy & Donna Dereengowski of Princeton, Edward & Rachel Lambert of Princeton, Paul & Naomi Soda of California and Afghanistan; eight great-grandchildren, Sonya Kjonaas, Haley Kjonaas, and Charlotte Blake all of Ripon, Zchary and Hunter Lambert, Sean, Calista and Sydney Soda; one brother, William Johnston of Handcock, one sister, Velma Schmakel of Bancroft; one sister-in-law, Lizabeth Johnston of Plainfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and one son-in-law.
Visitation for Evelyn J. Lambert will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, and again on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Evelyn J. Lambert will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend Randall King officiating. Interment will follow in Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. A memorial has been established.
