Evelyn Ratajczak

Evelyn A. Ratajczak, age 93, of Berlin, WI, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Patriot Place in Berlin.
Evelyn was born August 25, 1923, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Ewald and Leona (Tetzlaff) Krueger. She was educated in Oakfield and Waupun. Evelyn worked as a school cook and a housewife. In 1941, she married Lester Wessel, he later preceded her in death. Then in 1974, Evelyn married Edwin Ratajczak. She loved to Polka Dance. Evelyn would dance anywhere from her kitchen to polka cruises.
Survivors include her two sons, John (Betty) Wessel of Oakfield, WI and Mark (Sandy) Wessel of Berlin, WI; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Henrietta Wells of Milwaukee, WI. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and one grandson, Scott.
Per Evelyn’s wishes there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at Avoca Cemetery in the Village of Oakfield at a later date.
