Evelyn L. Riepl, age 87, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 1984 at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Evelyn was born on November 22, 1896 in the Town of Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Robert and Matilda (Hintz) Meilahn. She lived in Pickett most of her life, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Pickett and of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Pickett Senior Citizens. On August 18, 1926 she married Joe Riepl.
Evelyn is survived by her son, DuWayne Riepl of Oshkosh, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; one sister and two brothers.
Visitation for Evelyn will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, WI.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be held at 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 1984 also at the funeral home, with Reverend Alvin Aichele officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Town of Pickett, WI.
