Evelyn E. (Bornick) Weisnicht
Evelyn E. (Bornick) Weisnicht, age 96, formerly of Ripon, died Tuesday morning, January 15, 2002, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan.
She was born April 9, 1905, in Green Lake County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Bornick. She received her schooling in Green Lake County, and on February 27, 1931, she married Albert H. Weisnicht. Evelyn worked for many years at the Ripon Knitting Works, and also worked with her husband at their business "Big Al's". Mrs. Weisnicht was a member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, Ripon. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Lloyd
Stollfuss of Ripon; two grandchildren, Sharon (Kile) Lindow of New
Holstein and Robert Stollfuss of Ripon; great-grandchildren Katherine, Kristine and Geoffrey Lindow; brother, Arnold Bornick of Ripon; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, and one brother.
Funeral service for Evelyn E. Weisnicht will be Friday, January 18, 2002, at 7 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, with the Rev. Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Visi-tation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Town of Empire, Fond du Lac County. A memorial has been established.
