Fabian J. Malson, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 6, 1913, in Berlin, a son to Frank and Julia Treder Malson. He was educated in Berlin and Eureka and was a Line Clearance Foreman at Wisconsin Power and Light for many years. In Berlin on November 26, 1936, he married the former Leone Hoppa. Together they have resided in Ripon since 1950. Fabian was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church of Ripon and of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Leone; two daughters, Carol (Stanley) Seibold of Oshkosh and Ellen (David) Gallert of Ripon; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley of Green Lake; one sister, Ann Podoll of Berlin; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Margaret Albright, Florence Krentz and Regina Kallas, and one brother Edmond.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 1991, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A Parish Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 21, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. The Reverend William L. Toelle will officiate and interment will follow in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established in his name.
