Florence I. Nelson, age 87, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at the Fond du Lac County Health Care Center.
Florence was born in Altoona, PA on November 11, 1916. She worked at Oscar Mayer in Madison for 24 years and retired in 1979. She has been living in Fond du Lac for the past 13 years and had previously resided in Madison.
Surviving are her daughters, Jackie (Steve) Leonhardt of Fond du Lac and Patricia (Chuck) Delaney; son, Robert (Linda) Zeak of Henderson, NV; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Priscilla Geishecker of Gurnee, IL and Phyllis (John) Ramfield of Fort Worth, TX. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Harold K. Nelson; daughter, Joyce Randall; and infant daughter, JoAnn Nelson.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place and inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin.
