Florian Disterhaft

Florian M. Disterhaft, age 53, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, September 26, 1986, at his home.

Florian was born January 12, 1933, in the Town of Seneca, in Green Lake County, WI, the son of Edward and Isabelle (Strebelinski) Disterhaft. He was educated in the Berlin schools. Florian married Marie Kasuboski on October 8, 1955. He worked as a farmer and a salesman for Renk Seed Company. Florian was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a member of NFO and also president of Ripon Schmear League.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; one son, Gregory of Ripon; two daughters, Audrey of Ripon and Amy of Ripon; his mother, Isabelle Disterhaft of Berlin; two sisters, Mary Jane (Vilas) Kapp of Berlin and Elaine (Tony) Briskie of Ripon and two brothers, David of Rosendale and Michael of Berlin. He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation for Florian will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 1986, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Rosary at 8:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial for Florian will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 1986, at 10:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon with Reverend William Toelle officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
