Florian Wiercinski

Florian C. Wiercinski, age 87, 17 Highland Aye, Ripon, died July 9, 1997, at Juliette Manor in Berlin.

He was born June 10, 1910, in Hayward, WI, a son to Frank and Nell (Kochanowski) Wiercinski. He was educated in the Hurley. He lived in Hayward and Hurley before coming to Ripon. In 1933, he married the former Marie Blake in Ripon. He worked for his father-in-law as a baker at Blake’s Bakery, later purchasing it and calling it the Ripon Home Bakery. In 1963, Florian went to work at Ripon Foods, Inc. until his retirement. Mr. Wiercinski was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.

He is survived by his daughter, Shirley (Jack) Zentner of Ripon, and 3 grandchildren, Mark and Scott Zentner of Ripon, and Meg (Todd) Surges, of Milwaukee; I granddaughter, Caitlyn; 2 nieces; other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marie, a sister, Marie, and two brothers, Gregory and Jerome.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 14, 1997, at 11 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9AM until the time of the Mass at the church. Interment will be in St Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. Memorials to St Patrick Catholic Church.
