Floyd S. Baird, age 59, of the Town of Rosendale, WI, passed away on December 14, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Floyd was born February 25, 1928, in the Town of Rosendale, WI, the son of William and Minnie (Splittgaber) Baird. She was educated in West Rosendale. On September 10, 1949, he married Dorothy Schultz in Ripon. Floyd worked as an oil distributer and a farmer. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and the Town of Rosendale Supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son, Dale of Appleton; one daughter, Judy (Bill) Swan of Rockford, IL; one sister, Velma Lehman of Ripon and one brother, Lester Baird of Ripon. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Floyd will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 1987, from 3 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Floyd will be held on Thursday, December 17, 1987, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
