Floyd Clifford Dunn, age 88, of Ripon, died Monday evening, August 16, 1999, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon after a brief stay.
He was born November 19, 1910, in the Town of Metomen, a son to Thomas and Minnie (Hahn) Dunn, and attended Osborne School. On May 24, 1937, he married Marian A. Emmer in Waukegan, IL, and they made their home in Ripon where Floyd had been a machinist at Speed Queen for 37 years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America and Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Geneva Butler of Green Lake and her daughter, Tammi (Tom) Kenton, and Marleen (Robert) Lietz of Malone and their children, Stephen Lietz, Linda (Brian) Vogds, Robert (Sherie) Lietz, James Lietz, Alan (Sandra) Lietz and Mary Lietz; 21 great-grandChildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lauren and Orville Dunn; 3 sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1982, infant son; Tommy; parents; son-in-law, Fred Butler; and great-grandson, Chad.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 21, 1999, from 10 AM until the time of the service at Our Saviours United Church of Christ. Funeral service will be at 11 AM at the church with the Rev. Eric Burnard officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials to Our Saviours UCC or Hospice Hope.
