Floyd A. Johnston, age 43, of 629 Woodside Avenue, Ripon, died Monday, October 23, 1989, at his home.
He was born June 26, 1946, in Big Fork, Minnesota, to James and Gladys Johnston. On August 7, 1982, he married Shari Coe.
Mr. Johnson was educated in Big Fork, Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969. Since 1970, he had resided in Ripon and was a customer service representative for Speed Queen. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Brian of Ripon and Bryan of Minnesota; one daughter, Stephanie of Ripon; his parents of Effie, Minnesota; one brother, James Jr. of Grand Rapids, Minnesota and four sisters, Jackie Lund of Golden, Colorado, Shirley Wicklund of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Marlene Brannon of Robinsdale, Minnesota and Kay Rohwer of Osseo, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church with the Reverend Joel Krueger officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 until 8 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
