Floyd Lewellyn

Floyd Burton Lewellyn, 59, of 1696 County Road M, in Pickett, died Thursday, August 23, 1990, at Mercy Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.

He was born September 28, 1930, in the Town of Nepeuskun, a son of William and Ella Gady Lewellyn. On May 15, 1965, he married Audrey Brewster.

Mr. Lewellyn was a graduate of Omro High School. He was cruise captain for the “Yachts of Fun” at Heidel House in Green Lake. He was a gunsmith by trade and was an avid hunter. He had been employed as a foreman for 20 years at Speed Queen Company in Omro and also was a 10 year veteran semi-driver.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Peter (Gwen) and Rick (Genevieve), of Pickett and David of Oshkosh; one daughter, Mrs. Shelly (James) Webb of Waupaca; his mother, Ella of Oshkosh and five grandchildren, Rebecca and Carter Lewellyn, Travis and Cody Schultz, and Jacob Webb. One brother, one sister and his father preceded him in death.

Friends may call Monday from 1 until 3 pm at the Waukau United Methodist Church inWaukau. At 3 pm Memorial Service will be held at the church with Reverend Jeff Cole officiating. A memorial has been established in his name for the church.
