Floyd Wilson Painter, age 55, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 1956, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Floyd was born August 25, 1900, in Kellerton, Iowa, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Ida Bell (Fairfield) Painter. He married Gladys Burling on October 12, 1935 and was a garage proprietor.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Bell; three brothers, Ivy of Red Creek, NY, Cloyd of Fulton, NY and Bryan of Center Square, NY and also by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 10, 1956, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Floyd will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 1956, at 2:00 pm at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
