Folkert "Fred" Faber

Folkert “Fred” Faber, age 65, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh with his family by his side.
Fred was born on May 9, 1942, in Holland, the son of Jacobus and Johanna (Bootsma) Faber. He married Judy Kloostra and worked as a machine operator, manufacturing farm parts.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly (Randy) Scherbarth of Princeton; son, Corwin (Kristin) Faber of New Glarus; 2 grandchildren, Breckin and Tenley Faber; 1 step granddaughter, Alex Scherbarth; brothers, George and Joseph Faber both of Ontario, Canada; sister, Johanna Van der Speck of Ontario, Canada. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Jacobus and Johanna and his wife, Judy.
Visitation for Fred Faber will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
Memorial Service for Fred Faber will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Donald Deike officiating. Inurnment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
