Frances M. Nitzke, 65, of W13161 Carter Rd, Ripon, passed away Tuesday morning, December 14, 2004, with family at her side at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
She was born March 15, 1939, in Ripon, a daughter to Herbert O.
and Dela L. (Radke) Daehn. She was a lifelong member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, where she was baptized on April 30, 1939, and confirmed in 1953. Fran attended Ripon Schools and was a 1957 high school graduate. On December 18, 1965, she married Daniel Nitzke. She was a member of the Ripon Lioness and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel “Bud” Nitzke of Ripon; 2 sons, Jeff (Brenda) Nitzke and their children, Alexee & Chandler of Markesan and Jamie Nitzke of Ripon; 2 sisters, Betty (Patrick) Putzi of FL and Lois Paganis of Tulsa, OK; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; and 1 brother-in-law.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 18, 2004, at 12:00 noon at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Rev. Mark R. West officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 17 from 5-8 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Saturday from 11-12 at the church. Interment will be in Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery, Town of Metomen. A memorial has been established.
