Frank J. Bonk, Jr., age 69, of Ripon, WI passed away on Saturday, April 23, 1955 at his home in Ripon.
Frank was born in Two Rivers, WI on October 2, 1885, the son of Frank Sr. and Johanna (Gonia) Bonk. He was educated in Two Rivers and has also resided in Milwaukee and the last 30 years in Ripon, where he was a machinist. On May 10, 1911 he married Mary Kreisa.
Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Bonk; a daughter, Shelburn O. Donkle of Fort Atkinson, WI; three grandchildren, Sandra, Judy, and Todd of Two Rivers, WI; father, Frank Bonk, Sr.; two brothers, John and George Bonk, both of Two Rivers, WI; six sisters, Mrs. Fred Mertens, Mrs. James Schauer, Mrs. Ben Dombruski, and Miss Martha Bonk all of Two Rivers, WI, Mrs. Frank Lassek of Eau Claire, WI, and Mrs. Robert Gillespie of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johanna Bonk.
Visitation for Frank will be held on Monday, April 25, 1955 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with a Rosary service at 8:00 pm.
Funeral service for Frank will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, April 26, 1955 at St. Wenceslaus Church in Ripon, with Father Joseph Platta officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers, WI. Serving as pallbearers will be John Wilson, Walter Prellwitz, Fred Inversetti, Arthur Stewart, Charles Gozinske, Sr. and Edward T. Kehl.
