Frank E. Buchholz, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, February 26, 1954, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Frank was born August 16, 1875, in the Town of Metomen, WI, the son of John and Caroline (Achtenberg) Buchholz. He lived in the vicinity of Ripon all of his life. On November 17, 1910, Frank married Helen Mehn in Ripon. He retired as a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; five daughters, Mrs. Ervin Ewald of Fairwater, Mrs. Elmer Sawall of Oshkosh, Mrs. William McConnell of Omro, Mrs. Alice Snelling of Ripon and Miss Donna Jean Buchholz of Milwaukee; eight son, Robert of St. Ignace, MI, Harvey of Milwaukee, Lenard of Fairwater, Franklin of Dallas, TX, Herbert of Ripon, Maurice of Tacoma, WA, Clayton of Tacoma, WA and Howard of Arlington heights, IL; twenty one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 28, 1954, after 10:00 am at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Monday, March 1, 1954, at 2:00 pm at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Ripon with The Reverend C.A. Bender officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
