Frank J. Zwolski, age 84, of Green Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his home.
Frank was born May 18, 1931, in Ripon, WI, the son of Frank A. and Mabel I. (Albrecht) Zwolski and graduated from Ripon High School in 1949. Frank served our country in the United States Army (1952 1954) and worked as a ticket agent and luggage handler for North Central Airlines for over 30 years, spending many of those years in Denver, CO. Frank was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon and a member of V.F.W. Schultz-Klemp-Wentland Post #5278. Frank loved listening to country and polka music as well as traveling. He always enjoyed taking the scenic route.
Survivors include his sister, Darlene (Jerry) Baskett; two nieces, Rebecca Baskett and Bonnie (Rick Harvey) Baskett-Harvey; great-niece, Josie Harvey; great-nephew, Jacob Harvey and four cousins, Fern Zamzow, Bev Mlodzik, Carroll (Arlene) Schilf and Nancy Theisen. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and several cousins.
Visitation for Frank will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016, at 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
