Fred Klettke

Fred M. Klettke, age 79, of Fairwater, WI passed away on Friday, March 15, 1957 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Donald Kussman, with whom he had resided for the past six years.

Fred was born in the Town of Mackford, Green Lake County, WI on September 22, 1877, the son of Frederick and Roselia (Wilsnake) Klettke. He attended school in Green Lake County, and went on to become a farmer. Fred also resided in Markesan and Stevens Point, WI. He married Ella Lemmenes. Fred was a member of the Methodist Church of Markesan and served on the Village Board of Markesan.

Fred is survived by two daughters, Ruth Kussman of Fariwater, WI and Wilma Rehfeldt of Stevens Point, WI; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Abendroth of Markesan, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Roselia Klettke; wife, Ella Klettke; and a brother.

Visitation for Fred will be held from 12:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 1957 until 11:00 am on Monday, March 18, 1957 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 1957 at the Methodist Church of Markesan.

Funeral service for Fred will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 1957 at the Methodist Church of Markesan, with Reverend A.B. Eliason officiating. Interment will follow at Markesan Cemetery, Markesan, WI.
