Fred Neuenfeldt Sr., age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012, and joined his parents and eternal family. His family and friends were gathered by his side.
Fred was born April 19, 1941, in Ripon, WI, to Ernst and Lorena (Swick) Neuenfeldt, on the family farm which was purchased in 1893. He married Linda in 2001. Fred was a farmer/farm mechanic, working for Waupun Equipment. While he was on the farm, he enjoyed spending time hunting in the marsh with his hunting crew. Even though the farm was an important part of his life, he moved to the city in 2001. Fred realized that city-living was not so bad, but he always found time to return to the farm. Fred enjoyed a Friday night game of pool, the quiet of his boat, and looked forward to fishing. More importantly, Fred Sr. looked forward to spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Our Saviors United Church of Christ.
