Freda Falk, age 102, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Freda was born on November 15, 1908, in the Town of Oakfield, Fond du Lac County, WI, the daughter of Louis and Martha (Draeger) Meyer. In 1919, she moved to Ripon and graduated from Ripon High School and then attended Oshkosh Business College. Freda then worked as a bookkeeper for Advertisers Manufacturing Company for several years. On July 27, 1935, she married Otto Falk who preceded her in death in 1966. Freda was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, a member of Grace Lutheran Ladies Aid Society for many years and volunteered at Parkview Care Center for 22 years.
Survivors include three nephews, Dr. Keith Meyer of Madison, WI, Donald Falk of Winneconnie, WI and Loren Meyer of Eagle River, WI; three nieces, Elizabeth Newell of DeForest, WI, Bernice DiVall of the Town of Oshkosh, WI and Carol Baytos of Eagle River, WI. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Arnold and Howard.

10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Freda Falk will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Clay R. Salmela will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials may be sent to Grace Lutheran Church, 430 Griswold St. Ripon, WI 54971 or Salvation Army, 237 N. Macy St. Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
