Frederic Ninneman

February 24, 1925 — April 5, 2003

Frederic “Fred” William Ninneman, age 78, of W1715 Watson Ct, Green Lake, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Juliette Manor in Berlin.

He was born February 24, 1925, on a farm in West Rosendale, a son to Frederic William and Leona (Jaeger) Ninneman. He was educated in Rosendale Schools. Fred served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific, PT Base 21. On November 9, 1946, he married Marian Hackl at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. He owned and operated Green Lake Auto Service, Green Lake Freight and Fred’s Liquor Mart for 28 years. Fred was a Charter Member of the Green Lake Lions Club, and belonged to the American Legion and PT Boats, Inc. He had been fire warden for 35 years and constable for the Town of Brooklyn for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Marian Ninneman of Green Lake; daughter, Dianne Hardin (Robert) of La Place, LA; son, David Ninneman (Zuzana) of Fenton, MO; 2 grandchildren, Bianca & Brendan; 2 sisters, Shirley Leeman (Ralph) of Lomira and Carol Lacquey of Fond du Lac; 2 brothers, Glenn Ninneman (Lois) and Dale Ninneman (Helen) of Phoenixville, PA; sisters-in-law, Helen Ninneman of Fond du Lac and Marie Ninneman of Shawano; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Gordon and Ray; and 3 sisters, Lois Ann, Dorothy and Florence.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 8, 2003, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2003, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake. Father Philip Krogman will officiate, and interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorials to Alzheimer’s.
