Frederick Samuel Luchsinger, age 89, of Town of Brooklyn, died Friday, August 28, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born March 20, 1909, in the Town of Brooklyn, a son to Samuel and Lena (PuhI) Luchsinger. He received his schooling at Dakin School. On May 23, 1936, he married the former Mildred Marie Schultz in Ripon. Fred farmed all of his life, and also drove school bus for area schools. He had been a Fire Warden for Green Lake County for 42 years, Supervisor for Brooklyn Township for 40 years, and was a member of the Green Lake Sportsmens Club for many years. Mr. Luchsinger was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon.
He is survived by 1 son, Dale (Arlene) Luchsinger of Milwaukee; 2 daughters, Marian (Marcel) Mildebrandt of Ripon and Carol (Robert) Kuphal of Batavia, IL; grandchildren, Caroline (James) Gilson, Aaron and Paul Mildebrandt Kevin (Melody) Kuphal and Gail Kuphal; sister-in-law, Eunice Schultz; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred and sister Helen Kloe.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 30, 1998, at 2:00 PM at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon with the Rev. Eric Burnard officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A Memorial has been established.
