Frieda Braun, age 88, formerly of Ripon, died Sunday, September 19, 1999, at Parkview Care Center.
She was born September 8, 1911, in Pleasant Prairie, WI, a daughter to Frederick and Emily (Erich) Krimel. She attended school in Sheboygan. On January 24, 1933, she married Karl Frederick Braun in Sheboygan. Frieda was a partner in the Breadbasket Bakery in Ripon. She was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon and the Altar Society.
Survivors include her children, Helen (Dick) Cerney of Ripon, Judy (Bob) Curry of Decatur, IL, Karl (Joyce) Braun of Oak Harbor, WA, and Bette (Jim) Schauer of Green Bay; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved spouse, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 21, 1999, at 11 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 AM until the hour of the mass at the church. Interment will be in St Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
