Frieda Konrad

Frieda L. Konrad, 94, of Ripon, died Tuesday morning, May 8, 2001, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born April 2, 1907, in Ripon, a daughter to William and
Bertha (Voelker) Welk. She attended school in Ripon and Milwaukee. On June 23, 1928, she married Clarence Konrad. Prior to moving to Ripon several years ago, Frieda had been a secretary at W.H. Brady Co. in Milwaukee. Mrs. Konrad was a member of The Mother Church of Christ Scientist, Boston, Mass., Third Church of Christ Scientist, Milwaukee, and Order of the Eastern Star of Milwaukee, Golden Rule Chapter No. 194.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Kathy) Konrad of Grafton; daughter-in.law, Carol Konrad of Neshkoro; grandsons, Jon (Ann) Konrad of Albuquerque, NM and Christopher (Catherine) Konrad of Seattle, WA; great-grandson, Nicholas Konrad of Seattle, WA; sister, Margaret Senn of Ripon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on Feb. 12, 1960, along with 1 son, Tod, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 13, 2001, from 12 – 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend Rebecca A. Johnston will officiate. lnurnment will be in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to her spiritual strength and beloved Third Church of Christ Scientist, 9911 W. Good Hope Rd, Milwaukee. WI 53224 would be deeply appreciated.
