Frieda Lang, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 1955 at her home.
Frieda was born in Mecklenburg-Strelitz Germany on September 7, 1878, the daughter of Henry and Johanna (Burmeister) Grahn. She came to Ripon on May 7, 1883 and on October 12, 1898 she married Heinrich Lang in Ripon.
Frieda is survived by her daughter, Lillie Boese of Ripon, WI; a granddaughter, Dorothy Boese of Ripon, WI and one brother, Henry Grahn also of Ripon, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Heinrich Lang; five sisters; and a brother.
Visitation for Frieda will be held from 6:00 pm on Thursday October 6, 1955 until 1:30 pm on Monday, October 10, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Frieda will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 10, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
