Frieda Tetzlaff

Frieda Elizabeth Tetzlaff, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, July 5, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Tetzlaff was born November 4, 1920, in Germany, the daughter of Julius and Elizabeth Schumacher. She was a graduate of Brandon High School. On September 17, 1938, she married William Tetzlaff. Together they resided in the Brandon and Omro areas. The last three years Mrs. Tetzlaff has resided at her rural Ripon address. In addition to being a housewife, Mrs. Tetzlaff was a cook at Juliette Manor in Berlin and worked for the food service at Ripon Middle School. She was an active volunteer at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, George of Ripon, Jack (Shirley) of Brandon and William (Susan) of Omro; four daughters, Marion (Robert) Lewis of Omro, Marjorie (Roger) Langeberg of Omro, Ida (Dennis) Ziegler of Ripon, Cindy (Steve) Broderick of Omro; twenty-seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerhardt Schumacher of Abrams. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 11, 1977; one son; two daughters and one brother.

Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 1991 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Tetzlaff will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 1991, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow in the Eureka Cemetery in Eureka.
