Gail A. Albright, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Ripon.
Gail was born on July 4, 1947 in Oshkosh, WI, daughter of Roy and Lorna (Beck) Albright. She attended school in Ripon and lived on the family farm her whole life up until moving to Russell Manor. She loved being on the farm, where her kind and caring heart took great care of the farm animals and all the chores that came with them. She and her siblings made a great team, milking cows, planting and harvesting crops. She enjoyed going to horse pulls with her dad; her parents meant the world to her. Gail cherished her entire family; always eager to hear news about family members, watching her nieces and nephews grow up, and was a loving caretaker for her parents as they aged. She had a passion for basketball, especially Badgers basketball. Snoopy made Gail happy, and she loved collecting and wearing Snoopy things. She was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Gail is survived by a brother, LeRoy (Lois) Albright; her sister, Catherine “Cathi” (Terry) Otto; nieces and nephews, Robert “Bobby” (Jeanette) Albright, Julie (Jerry) Lind, David Duerst, Theodore Duerst, Daniel Duerst, and Aaron (Terri) Otto; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lorna Albright; and a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Don Duerst.
