Gary William Malzhan, age 48, of Ripon, WI, died unexpectedly Monday, January 6, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born November 12, 1948, in Ripon, a son to Vernard and Ruth (Dahlke) Malzhan. He was educated in Ripon and served in the Vietnam War from March 12, 1969 to March 11, 1971. Gary was a truck driver.
He is survived by his parents, Vernard and Ruth Malzhan of Ripon; siblings, Margie (James) Walker and Lester Malzhan, both of Ripon, twins Karen Thomas of Waunakee and Karlon Malzhan of Ripon, Eugene Malzhan of Ripon, Roger (Shari) Malzhan of Berlin, Dale Malzhan of Berlin, twins Jayne (James) Prellwitz and Wayne Malzhan both of Ripon and Janice (Dennis) Darnick of Ripon; also many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 9, 1997, at 2 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate and burial will be in Rosendale Cemetery in Rosendale.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
