Geneva Kehle

Geneva M. Kehle, age 89, of Ripon, WI, died on Sunday, May 29, 1988, at the home of her daughter in St. German, WI.

She was born January 24, 1899 in Tripoli, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Sommers) Martens. Geneva was educated in Tripoli and Cedar Falls, IA. She worked as a teacher and a housewife. On April 21, 1920, Geneva married Paul C. Kehle. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon where the Reverend Paul Kehle had been pastor from 1923 to 1938.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Anna) Crusius of St. Germain, WI; six grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Paul A. (Donna) Kehle of West Bend, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son.

Friends may call from 10 – 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 1, 1988, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 1988, at 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend Harley Tretow. Interment will follow at the Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
