Genevieve Gladys Butzke, age 74, of Fond du Lac, WI passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 1955 at Strobel's Nursing Home in Fond du Lac.
Genevieve was born in Appleton, WI on March 8, 1881, the daughter of William Saxton. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1899. in 1902 she married Edward A. Butzke.
Genevieve is survived by her daughter, Gladys Nelson of Neenah, WI; a son, Edward Butzke who is in the U.S. Army; and a granddaughter, Sharon Butzke of Ripon, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Butzke; and her father, William Saxton.
Funeral service for Genevieve will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, WI, with Reverend Arthur R. Tingley officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Ripon, Wisconsin.
