Genevieve Muenster

Genevieve Grace Muenster, age 89, of Marshfield, WI, died Sunday, August 31, 1997, at her home.

Genevieve was born on July 30, 1908, in New London, WI, the daughter of Anthony and Mabel (Werner) Schantz. She attended school in New London, St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay and Edgewood Academy in Madison, WI. In 1927, she married Arthur Muenster, they lived in the Ripon area since 1939, Genevieve had moved to Marshfield ten years ago.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur of Ripon; one daughter, Carol (Robert) Leu of Marshfield; four grandchildren, Katherine (Charles) Bubolz, Steven (Becky) Leu, Patricia (Dan) Kinateder, James (Donna) Leu; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father and two sisters.

Funeral services for Genevieve G. Muenster will be held Wednesday, September 3, 1997, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with the Reverend Paul Holte officiating.

Friends may call on Wednesday, September 3, 1997, from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
