George Ballard Sr.

George W. Ballard Sr., age 65, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, October 31, 1986, at the VA Hospital in Wood, WI.
George was born on January 2, 1921, in Rosendale, WI, the son of Elmer and Ann (Sherwood) Ballard. He served our country in the United States Air Force during WWII in the European Theater. On April 26, 1941, George married Elizabeth J. Brajdic. He worked at Rueping Leather in Fond du Lac until 1973.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; son, George, Jr. of Ripon; one brother, Robert of Rosendale; three sisters-in-law, Laureen Ballard of Rosendale, Gladys Ballard of Lamartine and LaVerna Ballard of Ripon. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Visitation for George will be held on Monday, November 3, 1986, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Graveside Service for George will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 1986, at 10:30 am at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale with Reverend Allan Martling officiating.
