George Frank Bobzin, age 63, of Delavan, IL, passed away on Monday, September 28, 1953, at Wesley Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
George was born June 18, 1890, in Ripon, WI, the son of Frank and Imogene (Crowther) Bobzin. He was educated at Ripon High School. On November 22, 1911, George married Emma Sasada in Ripon. He worked as a merchant.
Survivors include his wife, Emma; one son, Lyle of Clarendon, IL; his mother, Mrs. Frank Bobzin of Mayville; five sisters, Mrs. Oscar Voss of Mayville, Mrs. Alice Pitet of Butte, Montana, Mrs. Louis Haepner of Mayville, Mrs. Sarto Berens of West Allis and Mrs. Richard Ziegler of Mayville; two brothers, Carl of Mandan, ND and Harold of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 30, 1953, after 4:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for George will be held on Thursday, October 1, 1953, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
