George A. Huth, age 88, of the Town of Springvale, died November 18, 1996, at his home.
He was born April 3, 1908, in the Town of Rosendale, a son to the late Herman and Minnie (Dumdie) Huth. He attended Fletcher School at Pickett. On April 25, 1936, he married the former Lorraine Deibert in Green Lake. George had lived in the Rosendale Area most of his married life. He farmed in the Town of Springvale, worked for the former Wisconsin Lumber Co. in Fond du Lac for 18 years and following that for 6 years at Mercury Marine. In 1974, he started working for the Village of Rosendale and also served for the Rosendale Cemetery Association until his retirement in 1992. Mr. Huth was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Rosendale.
In addition to his wife, Lorraine, he is survived by 2 sons, Donald (Vicki) Huth of Rosendale and Robert (Malee) of Oviedo, FL; 1 daughter, Karen (Arlyn) Teetz of Rosendale; 3 grandchildren, Brian, Denise and Karla Huth; 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Keenan; and 2 sisters, Elda Huth and Loretta Albright, both of Ripon. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
Funeral services for Mr. Huth will be Thursday, November 21, 1996, at 2 P.M. at the Peace Lutheran Church, Rosendale with the Reverend Craig Wolfgram officiating. Burial will be in the Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
