George Koller

November 22, 1939 — March 19, 2005

George B. Koller, of Ripon, died Saturday March 19 at his home. He was born November 22, 1939 in Ripon the son of George and Esther (Klawitter) Koller. George was a graduate of Ripon High School. He was a member of the Red Arrow Division, Army National Guard and served on active duty during the Berlin Crisis. George married Sandra Yurk on January 23, 1965. He was employed by Mirr’s Tree Service of Green Lake until his retirement in 2002. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to his orchard and garden where a weed didn’t have a chance and everyone enjoyed the fruits and vegetables he happily shared.

Survivors include his wife Sandi; one sister Barbara Priske of Green Lake and her special friend Rick Mohr; one brother Dick (Pat) Koller of Princeton; two nieces, Melissa (Joe) Hollatz and their children Ryan and Kera of Green Lake; Pamela (Peter) Anderson and their son Isaac of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Marlene (David) Wahoski of Portland, OR and other relatives and friends.

Preceding George in death were his parents; sister Jean Marks; brothers-in-law David Priske and LeRoy Yurk; aunts, uncles and cousins.

A time of visitation for George will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. At George’s request, no service will be held.

In lieu of flowers memorials in George’s name may be sent to a charity of your choice or Hospice Hope/Central WI Branch, 114 N. Pearl St. Berlin, WI 54923.
